Another lens: the Yashica ML 28mm f/2.8 :)
This lens was my first one with C/Y mount. I bought it after having read several positive reviews.
For some time, Yashica offered a DSB and a ML-branded line of lenses. The ML-series (Multi-Layered, i.e. coated) is generally considered to be of higher quality then the budget DSB-series. There appear to exist 3 different versions of the Yashica ML 28mm f/2.8, of which the last version is believed to offer the best image quality. Speculation says that the last version is similar to - or the same as - the Carl Zeiss Distagon 28mm f/2.8. The version I have is v3.
Aperture range: f/2.8-f/16
Minimum focussing distance: 0.3m
Aperture blades: 6
Below follow some photos of this lens in combination with a NEX-5. The adapter that I use also has a tripod mount.
